Become a featured artist
Each month The New Fat, Nottingham design agency create a funky desktop wallpaper calendar for their clients and followers to download to their computers. Believe it or not this is a long running tradition at The New Fat - who have been designing these calendars for in-house use since 2007 - its only recently this has been available FREE for the public. All the design team took a turn in designing a calendar page, but more recently this has opened this up for featured artists around the world to submit their photos, illustrations or creations to be the focus. Each artist gets a credit on the final piece and also plus via twitter.
Recent submissions have come from: www.plushpussycat.com, www.curlyc.co.uk and www.sallyjanethompson.co.uk
To download your copy of the FREE October calendar click here
To be added to The New Fat mailing list which streams the latest calendar to your desktop email Suze by clicking here.
And to become a featured artist - we'd love to hear from you! Email your details and some samples of your work to Suze. p.s. we mostly theme each months design, so its a great little creative project for any portfolio.

Septembers Business and Dinner
25 Businesses attended the September Business and Dinner event last night at Petit Paris Restaurant. The event is run by Suze Moore of The New Fat and is attracting more and more visitors each month.
There are a number of unique concepts behind the Business and Dinner meetings:
• It is a non subscription event - so no joining fee
• You email to reserve a space and pay for your food and drink on the night
• Cost is around £15 per head
• Cost is around £15 per head
• This includes a donation of £1 to charity
• Meet at a different Nottingham restaurant each month
• Everyone gets chance to introduce themselves to the group
The style is casual, relaxed and enthusiastic. It really showcases both the vibrancy of both Nottingham business and the fantastic selection of great restaurants. The long term aim for the group is to fill a restaurant for each meeting, and enjoy tasty food :-)

Bombardier billboard - Made in Britain
The New Fat are very proud to help Bombardier in the fight to highlight British manufacturing. This billboard design is displayed in and around Derby from 19th September. Our design brief was to make sure the billboard gave maximum impact and is in keeping with the corporate brand guidelines. Bold, modern and strong - we love it!
